Terms of Use
Last updated:
These terms describe the rules for using Quranzi. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
This document is a template generated from how Quranzi currently works. It has not been reviewed or approved by a lawyer, and items marked “Owner to configure” must be completed by the Quranzi owner before production launch.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Quranzi you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Quranzi
Quranzi is a web app for reading the Quran, listening to recitations, browsing Surahs and Juz, saving bookmarks and playlists, and practising memorization (Hifz) and Tajweed. Some features are available with a Premium subscription.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live. If you are a minor, use Quranzi with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
4. User Accounts
You can create an account to save your activity across devices. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account.
5. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone; what it removes and what may be kept is described in the Privacy Policy. You can also ask for help by emailing quranziofficial@gmail.com.
6. Optional Authentication
You can read and listen without an account. Features that store personal data on our servers, such as synced bookmarks, playlists, progress and Premium, require signing in.
7. Quran Content and Religious Materials
Quran text, translations and related data are provided through third-party Quran data services and may contain errors or interruptions. Quranzi is a reading and learning aid; it is not a substitute for qualified scholarship or a verified printed mushaf. Please report mistakes through Feedback.
8. Audio and Reciter Content
Recitations are provided by third-party audio sources and remain the property of their respective owners. Availability of a reciter or recitation may change.
9. Feedback
You can send feedback from the Feedback page, signed in or not. Feedback is received by the Quranzi team, who may use it to improve the service without any obligation to you or to act on it. Please do not include sensitive personal information in feedback.
10. Bookmarks, Playlists and User Content
Bookmarks, playlists, favourites and similar items you create are used only to provide the features you chose. Do not use these features to store unlawful or abusive content.
11. Premium Subscriptions
Premium unlocks additional features. Premium access is determined by the subscription status recorded for your account. Plans and prices are shown in the purchase screen at the time you subscribe. Premium is tied to your Quranzi account: if you delete your account, Premium access on that account ends. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription or entitle you to a refund — manage or cancel it with your payment provider before deleting.
12. Payments and Billing
Web purchases are processed through RevenueCat web billing and its payment providers; Quranzi does not receive your full payment card details. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are those shown at checkout and by the payment provider. Additional refund or cancellation terms: [Owner to configure: refund and cancellation policy, if different from checkout terms].
13. Offline Audio
Where offered, offline Surahs and audio are stored on your own device. They are for your personal use, and your browser or device may remove them.
14. Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to access other users’ data or interfere with the service.
- Do not scrape, overload, reverse engineer or bypass access controls or Premium restrictions.
- Do not redistribute audio or content in violation of its owners’ rights.
15. Intellectual Property
The Quranzi name, logo and software are owned by Quranzi or its licensors. Quran text, translations and recitations belong to their respective rights holders. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the service.
16. Third-Party Services
Quranzi relies on third-party services such as Supabase (accounts and data storage), Google (optional sign-in), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Quran data and audio providers, and browser push services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
17. External Links
Quranzi may link to other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
18. Availability and Service Changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. The service is provided on an as-available basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted access.
19. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Quranzi is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including as to the accuracy of third-party content.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Quranzi will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
22. Termination
You may stop using Quranzi at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or to protect the service or other users.
23. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Owner to configure: governing law / jurisdiction].
24. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
